Integrated Marketing Campaigns

Brand Campaign Design · Marketing Systems · Print & Digital · 2020–2026
Over six years at Code Ninjas, I designed integrated marketing campaigns that helped franchisees promote programs, camps, partnerships, and seasonal events through cohesive visual systems spanning print, web, social media, email, and in-center experiences.
The Opportunity
Marketing at Code Ninjas extended far beyond creating individual graphics. Each campaign needed to communicate a clear message while remaining flexible enough to support hundreds of independently operated franchise locations across multiple marketing channels.

Every campaign became an exercise in balancing strong creative direction with scalable systems, ensuring materials remained recognizable, easy to customize, and consistent with the evolving Code Ninjas brand.
My Role
As a Graphic Designer on the Home Office marketing team, I led the creative direction and production of integrated marketing campaigns from concept through final execution.
  • Brand Identity
  • Campaign Concepting
  • Print Design
  • Digital Marketing
  • Production Design
Across six years, I developed campaigns supporting seasonal camps, educational partnerships, product launches, charitable initiatives, and national marketing promotions.
Design Challenges
Unlike designing a single flyer or advertisement, each campaign needed to function as a complete visual system. A single creative direction often expanded into websites, social media, posters, window graphics, email assets, digital advertising, print collateral, and franchise templates.

The challenge wasn't simply creating attractive visuals—it was establishing flexible design systems that remained visually cohesive regardless of format, dimensions, or production method. Every asset needed to feel unmistakably part of the same campaign while accommodating local franchise customization.

Success depended on creating campaigns that were memorable, scalable, and practical to deploy across hundreds of locations.
Design Goals
  • Develop a clear visual identity for each campaign.
  • Build systems that translated consistently across print and digital.
  • Balance creativity with franchise usability and brand standards.
  • Create reusable assets that reduced production effort.
  • Maintain strong messaging across every customer touchpoints.
Establishing the Visual Direction
Every campaign began with establishing a core visual identity. Typography, color palette, illustration style, photography, and composition were defined early, creating a foundation that informed every asset produced throughout the campaign lifecycle.
Print Experiences
Print collateral remained one of the primary marketing tools used by franchisees. Materials needed to communicate key information quickly while remaining durable, adaptable, and easy to localize for individual centers. Designing with production constraints, readability, and real-world installation in mind was just as important as the visual design itself.
Digital Experiences
Campaigns extended seamlessly into digital experiences through landing pages, social media, email marketing, and online advertising. Rather than recreating each design independently, every asset evolved from the same visual system, ensuring customers encountered a consistent experience regardless of where they first engaged with the campaign.
Designing for Recognition
Color selection became one of the project's most important design decisions. Gold needed to feel distinct from Yellow, Bronze couldn't be mistaken for Brown or Orange, and Platinum needed enough separation from Silver while still feeling premium. Every color was evaluated not only individually, but as part of the complete progression students would experience throughout the program.

Alongside this, it was important to find a distinguishing accent or color application that made these feel "Advanced" - not just "as well."
Looking Back
Working across hundreds of marketing campaigns strengthened my understanding of brand systems rather than individual deliverables. I learned to think beyond a single design and instead focus on how an idea evolves across an entire customer journey.

Perhaps the biggest lesson was recognizing that consistency doesn't mean repetition. Each campaign needed its own personality while still feeling unmistakably Code Ninjas—a balance that required careful attention to hierarchy, messaging, and visual identity.

These experiences continue to influence how I approach design today, emphasizing scalable systems, cross-functional thinking, and solutions that remain effective across multiple platforms and audiences.
